MY ADOPTION AGENCY IS ENDING ITS RESIDENTIAL SERVICES - THANK GOD

During the past year, St. Elizabeth/Coleman Pregnancy and Adoption Services underwent an in-depth assessment. As a Catholic Charities agency of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, we are committed to being good stewards of our resources for future generations.
This review made it clear that the best use of our resources requires a transition from costly residential services to an expansion of our adoption and outreach pregnancy services to meet the needs of today's women and families. Our adoption and outreach pregnancy services will remain on the Churchman Avenue campus. We will be transitioning residential services in mid-March.
There remains a need for crisis, short-term housing for pregnant women. Catholic Charities Indianapolis Holy Family Services offers crisis housing for families in Central Indiana and is expanding. Also, St. Elizabeth-Catholic Charities in New Albany offers residential resources for women and their children. Check our Web site (www.stelizabeths.org) for more details.
