The Gladney adoption protest went off without a hitch. People did stop and ask questions about adoptee rights and issues. You can visit this link for pictures. If you are an adoptive parent from there, you can put pressure on them to change their thinking. The sealed records system isn't there to protect mothers, adoptive parents nor even the adoptee. They are there to protect the adoption agencies. Its time to make adoption completely transparent. It is for the children that I ask you to step up. We as a society are having way too many stories of adoptees being abused or worse killed. Its time for this to stop. We have to step up. Come on People lets get this done.

Thanks for this post about the protest! We got to talk to alot of people and heard the usual "What do you mean you can't get your records?" It was empowering and I can't wait to do it again!
