Catholic Charities cutting ties with gay-adoption service
October 03, 2008
The office of Catholic Charities of the San Francisco archdiocese has chosen to end its agreement with an adoption agency that placed children with same-sex couples. Our Sunday Visitor reports. Catholic Charities declined to give reasons for ending the 2- year contractual arrangement, in which the archdiocesan agency provided funding for staffers at Family Builders by Adoption, an agency catering to homosexual couples, but a spokesman alluded generally to budget pressures.
Catholic Charities had entered into the business relationship with Family Builders after the Vatican ordered an end to the policy in which the archdiocesan agency itself provides adoption services for homosexuals. Church officials said that the same-sex adoption services were mandated by California's non-discrimination laws, and local officials had threatened to cut off funding for the Catholic agency if homosexuals did not receive equal treatment.

I wish like you they would pull completely out of the practice of adoption and instead support and help expectant moms and children rather than push to separate them for life.
In my opinion, there is nothing even close to religious or God-Loving in Infant Adoption. Only greed!
