This just plain makes my blood boil. Seriously boil. I received an email from an old high school friend. He probably thought it was funny. I don't consider it such. I consider hate mail. I consider it continuing on the negative degrading horrible angry racist path. I do not vote based on ignorance. So find someone else to spew that crap too.
Here is the email.
"
The Coming Election
There are less than three months until the election, an election that
will decide the next President of the United States
The person elected will be the president of all Americans, not just the
Democrats or the Republicans.
To show our solidarity as Americans, let's all get together and show
each other our support for the candidate of our choice.
It's time that we come together, Democrats and Republicans alike.
If you support the policies and character of John McCain, please drive
with your headlights on during the day.
If you support Obama, please drive with your headlights off at night.
Thank you for your participation"
So I guess its okay to tell people to go jump off cliff if you voting for someone else other than your party. I guess its okay to wish a death sentence on someone because they are voting differently. I fought in Desert Storm. I have fought for the rights of these morons in this country who are doing nothing but spewing hatred. I could not ever vote for a woman or a man that stirs up the racial hatred and ignorance in the American people as John McCain and Sarah Palin have. These folks have whipped it up into a fucking angry horrible fury aimed at other Americans. People are getting threatening letters if they have Obama signs in their yards. People are having Obama signs removed from their yards. One individual in the United Kingdom was shot three times because he was wearing an Obama shirt.
Its one thing to argue over politics but something entirely different when we go and attack other American citizens. We try to deny them their hard won American rights. We violate their property and their physical space. Its got to stop. Shame on McCain and Palin. This veteran ain't voting for them.

The McCain / Palin events are starting to look like KKK rallies.
Have they no shame?
