IN MEMORY OF TAMMY MCPHERSON

I found out that a friend passed away. Her husband used to work on this ranch. I write this in her memory. It was a tragic loss. She was only 31 years of age. Her children played with mine. When she was pregnant with her daughter, she also watched my children. It really breaks my heart that these children will not grow up knowing and loving their mother. When I worked at the post office in Henrietta, she and I would often discuss the folks there.

She was the first woman that I ever met that chewed tobacco. Her husband always knew when she was mad at him when she had a huge chew in her mouth. She was the typical cowboy's wife.

Those children will have an angel looking over them as will the rest of us. May she forever rest in peace. She will be missed here on this ranch.
