Folks there has been an update on Stephanie and her family.
Evidently the horrid adoption agency, A Child's Waiting, is being shut down PERMANENTLY. They were not in compliance with required state compliance issues. The state of Ohio is shutting them down.
Sadly the preadoptive parents have moved to another state.
So keep your fingers crossed.

My fingers and toes are crossed! I'm glad they shut that agency.
I don't think moving to another state will help PRE-adoptive parents. They are not the parents of that child. The case is not closed.
I'm very glad about the agency being shut down.
The preadoptive parents are obviously very scared -- that's good, but I just hope they're not harder to find. *Crossing my fingers.*
After much research, unfortunately, it seems that your source for this info was mistaken. A Child's Waiting is not being shut down, and has only received a citation, which many adoption agencies receive on a regular basis, for paperwork and procedural issues.
