The United States is not the only country that has tales of foreign adoption corruption. There are tons of stories concerning Indian children placed in Australian homes. These children were stolen from their parents in India.
Here is another article about Ethiopia adoption that I found interesting. The reason why Ethiopia has so many orphans is because of the AIDS/HIV virus. If you slow the process of the disease, you reduce the number of orphans. Its interesting how a country's politics affect others around the world.
Just a couple more reasons why we need to stop and think long and hard about what we as a country, society and the world are doing about children. I blame the adoption industry for many of the issues going with adoptees and their families today.
